Within our industry at Emolice Contract Manufacturing Solutions, we subscribe to the gold standard for best practice in cable and wire fabrication. This gold standard includes IPC standards, the IPC/WHMA-A-620 in particular, and for anyone unfamiliar with this, here is a brief overview of IPC and its importance in cable fabrication and installation.

In short, IPC Standards are designed to:

a) Set Standards on products to allow for high quality and strong consistency and

b) Ensure that there are set standards of workmanship making it clear as to the level of quality that has gone into a product assembly.

Here at Emolice, all of our assembly team are fully IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified and trained. All of our assemblers have passed an IPC exam to attain their certification, a qualification that is required to be retaken every 2 years, ensuring our on-site assembly team are constantly working to the highest standards.
